Appeal for Reconsideration

Appeal Policy

Applicants denied admission will be given timely notice in writing.

Denied applicants who meet the minimum system wide standards (3.0 GPA or 1000 GRE) may request reconsideration within 30 days of the date of denial.

The request should present additional evidence of potential for academic success at USF and contain reasons why reconsideration is warranted.

Applicants denied admission to a degree-seeking program may be eligible to enroll as special (non-degree seeking) students; students should check with their respective programs. See
Graduate Programs.

Appeal Procedure

Students denied admission should contact the program to determine what additional documents/information are required for reconsideration.

Once the program receives those documents, an Appeal for Reconsideration Form is completed and submitted to the College and Graduate Admissions for approval. See Graduate Forms.
